hello people. just woke up from a really really long 5-6 hours of sleep. Well I went from a campus crusade camp from the 13th to the 15th, that is today. The programmes were rather spaced out, giving enough room for group fellowship and interactions. But to say that they didn't tire us out would be a fallacy considering the 2 hours of sleep we recieved on the second night. But generally, it was a good camp. The seniors and other freshies were rather warm in their welcome. I enjoyed the chicken game where the chicken king had to run the chicken kingdom with peanuts. Enjoyed the long walks to and from the supper place out of NTU where we sang all the Christian songs we knew. Enjoyed the candle games in which we (Shi Ying and I) constantly tried to attack the other teams by blowing out their candles=) I like the Engineer-Captain-Spy game in which we planned tatics to charge at the other groups. And of course the puzzle-dash too. Where you can really see people fighting over the puzzle pieces admits the sharp screams and mad dash of hands. There was also this food aution game ( I like cheddar and sour cream potato chips!!) and the chicken dance of course. But I supposed the main part of the 3 days-2 nights camp was the finale night. ha ha.. Gabriel came up with this M.A.D theme of body ordour and I acted as the "Ah Lian". For once, "thick-skinnedness" does seem to have ruined my reputation!! I think everybody in my group was stunned by my acting. This innocently quiet sweet girl is not so gentle and demure anymore. *opps* And I was suppose to impromtu on stage with Ee Jun since he wasn't there for the rehersals. I think he was super shocked on stage and he did pause for quite a while before replying my question.. ha ha.. well, I said somemore stupid nonsense and Yes! we got out of the stage:) What's bad about the whole act?? Number 1, now my group calls me "Ah Lian" and number 2, I think the guys are kind of scared of me cause I was so fierce or I acted so fierce. Oh well.. I was from drama. And I really not am an Ah-Lian turn sweet girl ok!!
But yes, I've seen God work in the camp. He brought me to a group that I felt very comfortable with. The world is so small. 3 friends from my group are friends of people I know. It's not a coincidence but I would put it as divine appointment =) Am going for my hall camp this Sunday. My hall seems quite happening. Hopefully, I would get to enjoy myself and really get to know people better during the camp. yupz. signing off, ting.
